Working Hard and Smart

A message from Digital Advanced Control

Many will be aware of the on-going global shortage of semiconductors, extended lead times and cost increases in all materials. Lead times  are regularly between 30 – 80 weeks even for items such as transformers.

The global shortage began to take effect in April 2021 and many expected this to be to be finished in Q2 2022, but if anything it has not eased and the general consensus is that it won’t until Q2/Q3 2023.

C.E.O at DAC, Yan Phoenix, can reassure customers that the team at DAC have been working hard to minimise any disruption in their supply chain, and as a result can still maintain a lead time of 4-6 weeks and can continue to maintain this lead time for the foreseeable future. This is due to DAC’s continual investment in IT Infrastructure allowing them to forecast expected usage along with lead times, Large Stockholding and loyal supplier partnerships which has been the core of their manufacturing philosophy - working hard and smart to maintain lead times in line with customer expectations.
