The Eiffel tower was such an icon of the Olympic Games this summer. And now for the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days) on  September 21 and 22 in Paris, there is a unique opportunity to discover the  secrets of this emblematic monument

During a guided tour led by a Tower technician, guests can discover the workings of this unique piece of heritage, which transports visitors up to the second floor at a height of 115 m and can enter the technical gallery of the historic elevator machinery on the east pillar. The 30-min guided tour is free of charge and will be conducted exclusively in French, in groups of 15. Slots will be offered, by registration only, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and then from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September 2024. Reservations open in September.
