Last Christmas, KONE Maintenance Technician in Norway Emil Bariås and his wife Emmi Eskola-Bariås decided to get creative with their gingerbread baking and created a model lift! This prompted many other employees to attempt some architectural baking of their own.
And they’re not the only ones - The Trump Tower in Chicago is home to a life-size, functional gingerbread elevator, made of nearly 1,000 gingerbread bricks. The Gingerbread Express also includes a video of a roaring fireplace, a train running overhead, and a delicious aroma bound to make you hungry!
