Schindler has celebrated several achievements recently, having first been awarded an ‘A’ score from the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). Schindler was one of only 330 companies worldwide that made the cut last year. Jörg Naescher, Schindler’s Head Global Sustainability, was in Paris in February to accept the accolade in person at the CDP award ceremony.

Schindler strongly believe that it's key for companies to embed sustainability in every business decision – for them it's part of their commitment to become #NetZero across their value chain by 2040.

Also, Swiss business newspaper Handelszeitung has ranked Schindler as the best employer in Switzerland in the "mechanical and plant engineering" sector and second place overall.
