Did you know toads migrate back to their ancestral breeding ponds each year? Stannah certainly didn’t until they were
invited to tag along on one of the recent toad patrols in Longparish where the local team helped over 400 toads safely
across roads and over to their known migration crossing.

From February to April toad patrollers will be called out to help the toads on their annual migration where they instinctively
head back to their breeding ponds. Unfortunately, their routes are often along roads where many don’t make it across.
This is where Froglife and their teams of volunteers come in.

Stannah were delighted to have been able to help this wonderful wildlife charity with a donation of 40 high viz vests!
