To celebrate their 6th Global Safety Week, KONE have launched a new safety app to teach children about lift and escalator safety. The app includes a game that features KONE's safety mascots, Max the mouse and Bob the elephant. It begins with Max accidentally flying away with a balloon, leading Bob to go on a journey to follow his friend by exploring a tall building with the help of elevators and escalators.

The app forms part of KONE’s wider initiative to educate children and parents on safe practices, which also includes events and visits to schools around the world. Max and Bob are also featured in a children’s workbook and an animated film which you can watch here.

Max and Bob were even spotted in Tallinn as they visited a local daycare centre in Saku! Max & Bob demonstrated to some 40 children how to safely ride an elevator and use an escalator, emphasizing the importance of following safety guidelines and using caution when around the equipment.

The adventure-filled game is intended for children aged 4 to 10 years and it is available for download for Android and IoS devices. You can also play the game on personal computers and tablets here.
