Jackson completes modernisation project in Broadgate Quarter, London
Jackson Lift Group recently undertook another lift modernisation project in the vibrant and busy EC2 Broadgate area. Jackson was commissioned to modernise six 26-person passenger lifts at One Snowden Street, an 11-storey plus basement floors commercial building.
One Snowden Street was originally designed by SOM Architects and built in the 90s for Hines UK. The most recent modernisation, under the guidance of architectural practice, JRA, has involved a significant style improvement to make it a more trendy and relaxed facility for tenants and their staff. The CAT A refurbishment has included the modernisation of the entrance, reception, lift lobbies and the addition of a coffee lounge, washrooms, toilet facilities and the full modernisation of the lifts.
The modernisation of all six lifts included the installation of new J&L high-speed gearless machines, Kollmorgen lift controllers, new auto-diallers, shaft safety gear, new landing and car doors, car operating panels and landing signalisation.
