Lift Industry Newsletter
November 2022

In late September 2022, the Lift Industry Mental Health Charter was formed. It was created by Director of Ascension Lift Solutions Ltd, Mark Harding, and is supported by Martin McCarthy, a mental health educator at Our Mental Health Matters.

The concept is solidarity for one cause within the industry, mental health. There are already over 40 companies supporting the charter representing 2000+ employees- amazing support in a short period of time.

Scott Haywood from Deltron added the Charter to their football shirts for a match between Deltron and Concept, and PEW’s and Regal Elevators helped to get the Charter at an event at Millwall football club. The match between Deltron and Concept raised over £450 pounds and the just giving account is still open and live here.

Next for the charter is a YouTube channel, which is dedicated to the lift industry and mental health. The first video release is due in early December but the Deltron v Concept football match has been uploaded to the channel. It would be great to get as many subscribers as possible and potentially monetise the channel. This will help to support the charter and the channel in the future. So please subscribe here!

Come and join lift companies, suppliers and consultancies and show support for mental health within the lift industry. Joining the charter is very simple, just email in a digital logo of your company and an email confirming the company support through the website. That’s it!
