CIBSE announce Best Digital Innovation category for prestigious Building Performance Awards 2023. The new award rewards excellence in the field of digital engineering in recognition of the increased digitisation of the built environment.

Carl Collins, Head of Digital Engineering at CIBSE comments: “Digitisation of the built environment is going to be the big game changer in terms of building performance. Whether it is through streamlined design processes, smarter construction methods or the automated operation of a building, for predictable and repetitive processes, machines out- perform humans. Our task will be to create those automations and this award is to celebrate achievements in this field.”

Entries will be judged based on how specific digital innovation has been implemented how it has addressed problems and potential for continued impact. They are open to both domestic and international organisations, and close on 14 September 2022.
