Thames Valley Controls and Global1Partners Ltd teamed up for an exciting challenge to support the Wales Air Ambulance Charity!

 The teams hiked up Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa, to conquer new heights both literally and in raising funds for this incredible cause on 26th September 2024. ⛰️

 The hike took place over two days:

Day 1: A 5-hour trek over 11 kilometres of mule paths, zigzagging up into the rocky valley toward towering, snow-dusted peaks. The team reached the Neltner Refuge at 3,207m, at the base of Toubkal, for a well-earned rest.

Day 2: An early start to summit Jebel Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. They ascended the south cirque to the summit, then retraced their steps down the mountain on a challenging 17-kilometer trek, which took around 10-11 hours.
